Storage Unit Sizes
We offer a variety of storage unit sizes to fit your needs, whether you’re storing a few boxes or the contents of an entire home.
What storage unit sizes do you offer?
Size options will vary from location to location, but most of our storage facilities provide six standard storage unit sizes to accommodate a wide range of needs. No matter if you’re storing a few household items or the contents of a large home, we have a space that’s just right for you. The most commonly available storage unit sizes include:
- 5×5
- 5×10
- 10×10
- 10×15
- 10×20
- 10×30
How do I know what storage unit size I need?
To pick the right storage unit size, think about how many items you need to store and how big they are. If you only have a few boxes or small items, a 5×5 storage unit is a good fit. For items from a small home, a 10×15 storage unit usually works well. If you need space for a large home, a 10×30 storage unit is best. Not sure what size you need? To ensure your items are covered, we also recommend bringing proof of insurance. If you don’t have any, then don’t worry. Most of our storage facilities offer it for purchase on-site. Just keep in mind that we also have additional fees, like a one-time admin fee or a lock purchase, depending on the storage facility.

When can I access my storage unit?
Access hours can vary depending on the storage facility, so it’s always a good idea to check with your specific location. Most of our storage facilities have extended access hours, so you can visit your storage unit early in the morning or later in the evening. Storage Features and Amenities
Our storage units come with helpful features like digital video recording cameras, easy drive-up access, and temperature control.
What is temperature-controlled storage?
Temperature-controlled storage is a specialized type of storage unit that maintains a consistent temperature year-round. This prevents your items from getting too hot or too cold. It’s great for storing items like wooden furniture, electronics, photos, or clothes, which can get ruined if the weather changes too much. By keeping the temperature just right, your items are less likely to warp, crack, fade, or break.
Do you offer boat and RV storage?
Yes, some of our storage facilities do have space for boats and RVs. These locations have wide driveways, so it’s easy to park and move your larger vehicles. We also offer storage for smaller vehicles like cars, motorcycles, Jet Skis, and four-wheelers. Just check our list of boat and RV storage locations.
What security features are offered at your storage facilities?
We care about your peace of mind, which is why we offer various security measures at our storage facilities, such as digital video recording cameras, fully fenced perimeters, gated access, and more. Reach out to your local storage facility to confirm what security measures are available with your rental.
What is drive-up access?
Drive-up access is one of the most convenient features that a storage unit can have as it allows you to park your car or moving truck right in front of the door. This makes it easy for you to load and unload your items without having to carry anything from a far distance.
It also saves time as the process becomes much faster. Some of our storage facilities with outdoor storage units will have this feature, so be sure to check if it’s available near you.
